The Globe has teamed up with Torbay-based work placement company with an aim to offer high quality English tuition and work placements to more students from around the world.
The Training Partnership (TTPL) already works with hundreds of Devon firms to provide placements in different sectors for trainees from across Europe and beyond. The new partnership will see TTPL offer Globe’s teaching programmes to complement its own teaching packages and work placements, with Globe specifically providing English language classes to TTPL trainees on work placements.
Wendy Williams, of TTPL, said: “This is an exciting new venture for The Training Partnership. More Exeter companies than ever are working with us to provide quality work placements that benefit their business and the trainees. By expanding what we can offer when it comes to high quality language provision particularly suited for the business environment, we hope to be able to attract more quality trainees to the area.”
Chrissi Florides, Director of Studies at Globe English Centre, said: “The Training Partnership and the Globe English Centre will be working together to provide more opportunities for those who wish to gain work placements in the South West, acquire valuable skills and improve their English. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to being able to offer more work placements and high quality English tuition to our clients.”
The Globe English Centre will continue to offer work placements for groups and individuals, and we are positive that the new partnership with TTPL will give us the opportunity to offer even more opportunities to our clients to learn about the British workplace.
