Adult Specialist Courses

English & Information Technology

An introductory course for students with little or no experience of using computers. This course combines 20 lessons of General English in the mornings and 8 lessons of IT skills in the afternoons. Run by our Self Access Tutor (specially trained in both EFL and IT) it will introduce you to word processing (Word) and file management (Windows), spread sheets (Excel), databases (Access), sending e-mails and surfing the net.

Exact course components will vary, depending on experience and needs of course participants but, with so few in a class, each student will have the opportunity to work on their own needs. Students can then continue to practise their skills in our Self Access Centre after lessons.

You can also book IT as a one-to-one option at any time during the year or insert it within any of our courses.
