Welcome to the Globe
 I would like to personally introduce the Globe English Centre and tell you why I think it is a very special place where I thoroughly enjoy working.
When I started the Globe English Centre in 1978 I chose Devon because it offers the warmest climate in Britain and offers the most popular destination for British holidaymakers.
Exeter, capital city of Devon, was also an obvious choice, just 2 hours from London and 20 minutes from the sea!
As well as its great charm and tradition, it combines the cultural and commercial excitement of a large city with the warm and comforting feeling of belonging to a friendly community.
The Globe, in the bustling Centre of Exeter, yet surrounded by trees and gardens, offers this same happy contrast of stimulation and relaxation.
